Athlete Discipline (sport & event):

Cyclist

What do you love about your sport?:

I love the freedom that riding a bike brings and the challenge of pushing myself to the limit.

What events are you most looking forward to for 2024 and why?:

Honestly, I am looking forward to every event that I do! I love racing, riding, and meeting new people at all the events that I go to!

What sponsors are supporting you in 2024?:

Carbs Fuel is my only sponsor for 2024!

Why did you decide to be sponsored by Carbs?:

I decided to be sponsored by Carbs Fuel because great people there and their high-carb gel that sets them apart from the competition.

Tell us about your first experience consuming a Carbs Fuel product:

When I first tried a Carbs Fuel gel, I was very pleasantly surprised about the consistency and taste. Unlike many other options on the market, Carbsfuel gels are easy to get down and don't have an overpowering taste. That makes them easy to consume even of the toughest of rides.

Why should others give Carbs Fuel a try?:

I think others should try the Carbsfuel gels because they pack a big energy punch for their size!

What's the craziest thing you've consumed as fuel during sport that's non-traditional?:

Not super crazy but it probably has to be that one time when I ate 5 cheeseburgers during a ride.

What are your 3 favorite sources of carbs? (Other than Carbs Fuel products). Doesn't have to be sport nutrition related:

My 3 favorite sources of carbs at the moment are bread, pasta, and rice!

What would your hobby be if you didn't have your sport and why?:

Hmm very tough question, Thinking more about this, I can't even Imagine what I'd be doing without cycling.

What's your worst B.C era (Before Carbs Fuel) bonk story?:

I was doing a mountain bike ride on the Colorado trail that took me waaaay longer than I thought it would. I only brought five; 250 calorie energy bars and 2.5 liters of water on a ride that took a little over 16 hours. That was the worst bonk and the most thirsty I have ever been in my entire life. Even trying to keep moving was a huge struggle. The save for me at the end of the ride was that I ate a 12 piece box of doughnuts and drank a gallon of water in very short order.
